I tired to go for a style I havent seen with the other avatar fanart. Since its important for Sokka to be a great warrior I went for the texture/parchment effect. Sort of as an emulation of ancient times where great wars and legends would be recorded on tapestry, where hopefully Sokka's endeavorers will one day past on as legend.

Ive included the Watertribe and White Lotus Society insignia to represent the different warrior aspects of Sokka.

Once again, comments and criticisms greatly appreciated!

I'm loving the set up in this pic - the both position of him and the lotus symbol (sweet symbolism splitting it with the watertribe symbol) and the magnification on his shadow. Plus I like the style of the detail on Sokka and the texture of the pic overall.
